AFTRS Open

Join our exciting school holiday program for kids and teens. Work in state of the art film studios with industry tutors to make a film, learn screen acting skills, create a claymation film or write & film your own documentary or mockumentary.

Our April School Holiday courses include:

9 – 12 year olds:
FILM CLUB
A five-day filmmaking course in which kids experience a range of workshops including filmmaking, screen acting and Claymation.

CLAYMATION
Kids use their imagination to develop animated characters and stories using Claymation. Just like Wallace and Gromit!

15 – 18 Year Olds
HSC VIDEO INTENSIVE – Work intensively on your HSC Video project with a film teacher at AFTRS in a collaborative environment

THE REAL FILMMAKING WORKSHOP
Our premiere workshop for young people, this week-long workshop is a real filmmaking experience. Work with a director, professional actors and AFTRS crew in our state-of-the-art studios using professional equipment.

AFTRS workshops are designed to give kids, teens and adults creative and engaging experiences in a professional environment. Book 28 days in advance of the course commencing, and receive a 10% early bird discount!
